   Why are people always so inclined to pet a dog’s face and scratch it’s chin? Most dogs take that as a sign of aggression and will defend itself. Next time you are dealing with a breed that is known for aggressive behavior, don’t coddle it’s head and treat it like a cocker spaniel.

   Sorry, if the anchorwoman was a pro, she would know not to put her face in a huge, unknown, recently-traumatized dog’s face who is also in a guard position over those sitting behind him. No, she was not a pro. She was a victim of her own lack of thinking. A pro, on the other hand, would keep her 3-ft distance, do not stare the dog in the eyes, and do not make any sudden movements, especially toward the dog or the men sitting behind the dog. Geez. Don’t let her near alligators.

    1) The reporter should have never gotten into the dogs face…especially what that dog had been through. 2) This is not a pit bull or a mastiff…it’s a Dogo Argentino, the owner said so himself. 3) It is mandatory in most states that when a dog bites someone it is quarantined for 10 days for rabies observation…not to be put down. Before commenting on something like this and making yourself look like an idiot…educate yourself.

    This isn’t a pitbull! And no one should ever put there face infront of a dog! No matter what size! My niece 5 pound yorkie bit me in the face for being to close when she first got him so after that i learned to give dogs there space.
